Angels and Blessings

Sylvia Carter was an angel here on earth, and now she is an angel up in Heaven. She was my hero and inspiration, and her life touched so many. My heart breaks knowing that my children will not be able to play with her or feel her embrace, but her memory and stories of her amazing life will forever live on. They will know her, and she will continue to inspire. I love you more than words, Mama.
Our little boy is 2 years old!!!! We can't believe it! He is such a little stinker... amazing with a very strong personality! I have no idea where he gets that from. Elmo is definitely one of his BFF's! Carter will officially be a big brother in a little over a month. Hasbrouck baby #2 is due in early March! Holy Smokes!!!!!
This is after a HUGE piece of birthday cake... The sugar kicked in quick, and his shirt was one of the casualties!!
Piling the cake in anyway possible.
We took him to the Austin Zoo to celebrate his birthday, and he absolutely loved it! His favorite part, by far, was being able to feed the goats and sheep. Baaaaaaa! Oh yeah... we live in Round Rock now... We're both teaching, and we bought our dream home. God is good!
Pure joy... Happy birthday, sweet boy!
Cuteness at its best!
I love my new cousin, Harold Bryant, thiiiiiis much!!!
Cute new family! My brother, Warren, his wife, Caroline, and their sweet baby boy, Harold Bryant.
Merry Christmas! Carter loves his sweet ride!
How cute is that????
Fun family pic taken at the baptism of my God son, Harold... such a blessing!
Happy boy... that's what climbing trees will do... Fun times!
Hey.... I see you!!!!! You just thought you were sneaky.
Thanksgiving fun with Colorado cousins, Bea Bea and Hazel!
Chillin'... How you doin'?
Andy and me this summer at the lake in Minnesota. We always have such a wonderful time there.
Carter loves the lake, too... swimming and sun... what more could you want?
Taking a little family stroll.

Summer Is Here!!!!

My mom and dad went on a vacation to the beach in Port Aransas. I got to play with Grandma and Grandpa the whole time!!! They said they finally got to relax... I'm not sure why they can't do that when I'm around.
Swimming is my favorite activity in the world! I got these awesome floaties which means I can swim anywhere I want and my parents can't do anything about it.
This is me, my mom, my future girlfriend Demi and her mom Alison. They've known each other since they were our age.
I was a little nervous for our date.
First dates are always a little awkward.
My friend Nico and I went crazy in the bath. Nobody says you can't have fun and get clean at the same time!
Big bellies are a sign of intelligence!!!!
Fun on the porch! Smiles all around!
Water is so delicious, especially when it sprays directly in my face!
That's my great-grandma... she's so cute and so much fun! She showed me all around her house and patio and told me super fun stories!
The only time I cry is when my parents take me out of the water... why in the world would they do such a dumb thing???
Sun protection and cuteness is key to any swimming adventure!
This door is no match for me! The outdoors await!!!
My grandpa is an awesome gardener, and he told me plants need plenty of water.

The month of May...

Holla... Ernie and I just wanted to say hi! We LOVE eating and staying healthy! May has been a pretty great month. My parents are super pumped, because they are ALMOST done with school for the year. They finish up on June 4th and couldn't be more excited!
I am paying my respects to our brave soldiers at our church on Memorial Day. It was pretty cool!
Oh my gosh... I am so excited!!!! We are back at the magic water spout place again!!!! Best place EVER!!!!!
I kept trying to grab the water, but it was a bit too slippery.
Now I'm trying to step on it!!!!
Phew! I've been playing so hard, I just needed a little break!
That's me and Uncle Ben. We had so much fun together. He read me tons of books and chased me all over the park by our house. Fun times!!!
This was a lot easier... using a spoon is totally overrated!
Or... I could use two spoons... Two is better than one!
Do I have something on my face?
All cleaned up and cute with my mom on Mother's Day. My mom says I am her greatest joy and she feels so blessed to have me as her precious son... I guess I am pretty awesome :):):) My dad and I made her breakfast and then my dad made her an awesome gourmet dinner. I think she had a great day!

A Visit from Minnesota and Other Cute Pics...

Mom and Dad took me to the most amazing place in the world, the park in the middle of our town mall. Water just comes shooting out of the ground and I can run and play as much as I want. I didn't care that the water was ice cold... I found it exhilarating!!!
Oh... by the way... Hi and welcome back to our Blog!
This may look funny to you, but just look at the pictures below, and you'll understand why I ended up like this! Wow... What a fun day!!!
My Grandpa Jack and I climbed up and down this huge hill at the Dallas Arboretum, so I could learn from some of the older kids how to roll down it. I almost got it, too!
I love my Grandma Jan... the flowers were really pretty too!
Grass is one of the coolest things on the planet!
That's me and my dad... I wanna be just like him when I grow up... Maybe I can put him on my shoulders one day.
Hi Grandma and Grandpa Jack... My Uncle Jared came down, too... He was so much fun, plus he kept telling me how cute I was :)
This is me in an authentic chuck wagon... Get along little doggies!
OK... so I know I'm supposed to sit in the stroller, but I'd much rather ride like this!
